Stills consists of five compositions recorded on a vintage Buchla 200 modular synthesizer as a collaborative work by Michel Flammant and Michaela Knizova. Based on improvisations set around a defined mood, the individual recordings have been processed and edited into their most reduced and clear-cut essence.

The different tracks present snap-shots of emotional states, condensed thought-processes frozen into a fixed form by the interaction of two minds and four hands. The result is a collection of complex fragments that tell a lot without imposing anything.
