Nebula/Nox ends a thematic cycle on the idea of an utopian apocalypse started with Silent Earth in 2016 and continued with Refugium in 2017.
As a final word, the album is a reflection of past events and a projection of things to come. It marks the end of one journey and the beginning of a new one, a moment of clarity before sliding away again into an unknown darkness.
Nebula/Nox can, in parts, be considered as a contemplative drone work that needs a good sound system and active attentiveness to be fully appreciated. It can, in other parts, be considered as a an invitation to detach yourself, to transcend the sphere of your everyday life and to reflect on your own journey.
